FROM MILAN:  
Take the Autostrada A1 Milano-Firenze and exit at Firenze Certosa. Take the dual carriageway to Siena, and exit at Siena Sud. Follow the SS2 Cassia and signs for Montalcino. After Buonconvento, take a right turn for Montalcino. At km.6.5 there is the turn off for La Gerla.

FROM ROME:
Take the Autostrada A1 Roma-Firenze and exit at Chiusi Chianciano, following signs for Chianciano. Before Chianciano, on the left, take the Cassia for Siena and Montalcino. Follow signs for Siena. After S.Quirico d’Orcia, take the road marked for Montalcino. Before reaching Montalcino take the road marked for Buonconvento. After circa 2 km, you will find La Gerla on the left hand side of the road.
